Special Soup

Make sure to try our special soup "Chupe de Camarones"! Only available on Saturdays, the "Chupe de Camarones" soup is the most elegant and tasty soup of the Peruvian culinary heritage. According to our researcher Isabel Alvarez, "Chupe" come from a Quechua word tat means "first food". The most important, the sociologist said, is that in the dish "the Indigenous and Hispanic components merge". On the Hispanic side you have the cow's milk, the egg and the garlic. Everything else, except the rice (which is Asian), is native to Peru: beans, potatoes, habas, shrimp, aji panca and huacatay. Our "Chupe de Camarones" is known for being the Queen of all Peruvian soups.
